We could not be more thrilled to be chosen to be Brandi & Jason’s wedding photographer. Along with their wedding, we were lucky enough to photograph their engagement session. Brandi and Jason will be getting married in Yorktown in the fall. We are anxiously awaiting their big day.
We love to photograph an engagement session for all of our couples. We think of it as a “rehearsal” for the wedding day. A lot of times our brides and grooms to be are a little anxious about being in front of the camera. An engagement session is the perfect time to wipe away the worries. We not only have a great time really getting to know our couples on their engagement session, but they are relieved when they see the results. The outcome, and showing our engaged couples how beautiful they are in their photos, wipes away all the worries of bad wedding day photos. Once they see their engagement session photos, they know that their wedding day photos are going to be amazing! It gives a since of calm for them not to have to worry about their photos of their wedding day.
I think that you will agree that Brandi and Jason look AMAZING in their engagement photos.
Norfolk Engagement Session
For Brandi and Jason, we decided that Norfolk would be the perfect place for their engagement session. We have a great mixture of greenery, texture, history and color.
Military Engagement Session
We take great pride and hold the utmost respect for our military. We love it when our clients serving in the military wear their uniform for their photo session.
Since Jason was wearing his uniform, we thought it would be fun to reenact the V-J Day in Times Square Photo.
We didn’t have Times Square as our backdrop, but they still look really good!
Sunset Engagement Session
There is no better time for an outdoor engagement session then at sunset. When it comes to outdoor photography sessions, timing is everything. The best light for photographing outdoor photo sessions is 1 hour prior to sunset. That way we are most likely going to capture the “sweet light”, barring there is no heavy cloud cover.
It is always our goal to capture our engagement sessions in the best light possible.
