Barclay….meet Barclay. Yes, she too is a member of our 2013 Senior Model Team. Being a part of The Senior Experience’s gives you quite the experience for amazing senior portraits. I think the best way to describe Barclay’s senior portraits is by looking at her senior pictures. She is so much fun. She is a tennis player and unicycle rider and more! We had the opportunity to photograph her at our studio, with vintage trains, vintage planes and on board a battleship, just to name a few spots and with our Dog, Hugo.

Ally | Senior Model Team 2013 | Virginia Senior Portrait Photographer
Meet Ally, one of our 2013 Senior Model Team. Being a part of The Senior Experience’s gives you quite the experience for amazing senior portraits. We love being able to capture who our high school seniors are through their senior portraits. With Ally, she is a hip hop dancer. Instead of doing the traditional dance poses, we took a trip to the downtown area where we did some urban hip hop portraits. Shooting them in an environmental portrait fashion helped bring who she is to life. We had the opportunity to photograph her downtown, at our studio, with vintage trains, vintage planes and on board a battleship, just to name a few locations.

Jimmy & Devon | Colonial Williamsburg | Williamsburg Lodge Wedding
The Williamsburg Lodge provided a beautiful backdrop for Jimmy & Devon’s wedding and the weather gods shined down upon us with a beautiful day, perfect for an outdoor wedding. Quite a difference from their engagement shoot so they were owed a nice day and we weren’t disappointed! It was a joy to photograph their wedding day especially since their wedding was complete with rose petals flying and I must say, some rather good dancing – of course it makes my job real easy with Devon’s hand made dress. Congratulations guys & enjoy the pics!

Mark & Meghan | Half Moone Wedding
Mark & Meghan did it with style at Half Moone in downtown Norfolk. Their wedding went off like clockwork thanks to the folks at Antonia Christianson Events who also had the room looking amazing with a little help from Blue Steel Lighting. Six Stylez had some grooving sounds echoing around the reception. The cake smelled as good as it looked therefore it must be from Emily Patti at Patti Cakes of course! Oh yeah, can’t forget the dress from Pure English Bridal – stunning as always. Don’t forget to check out the beautiful decor and flowers by Isha Foss. We wish Mark & Meghan the best and it is certainly of to a great start!

I’d say they look rather smashing. Don’t you think? Just a little bit of history courtesy of Bruton Parish and the Williamsburg Inn with a dash of flair from the fabulous “Janitors” Band and the totally sweet (literally) cakes from Cakes By Charlie. What I would do if I were you is just kick off your shoes and watch this slideshow. It will make you day just that much better. Really.
