In fact, Sebastian was a dream to work with. As a result, we were able to create many amazing images from his newborn photo shoot. When working with a calm infant, it is also a great time to use photography props. Not only do props provide comfort for the child, but they also add eye-catching appeal to each portrait. Therefore, we always make sure every infant we work with is well cared for throughout the newborn photography session. For example, comfy blankets, soft hats, and gentle swaddling can add comfort while helping the baby stay calm during pictures. Here are some examples:

For this newborn photography session, the family wanted to add personal elements to Sebastian’s photos. Specifically, they had a custom dinosaur hat made because they thought it would go perfectly with his newborn pictures. Moreover, we love when families can incorporate their everyday life, favorite places, and meaningful details into their photos.

When parents join in, we are able to try different lighting techniques and create even more beautiful newborn portraits.
