As a wedding photographer we love beautiful people and beautiful venues. We had both of those with Katie and Josh. They chose one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Norfolk. The newly remodeled Chrysler Museum of Art is simply stunning. To add to the interest of Katie and Josh’s wedding day, there was a very special traveling piece of art of display in the Hague River. It was the traveling duck designed by Florentijn Hofman. Katie really wasn’t upset with the duck, we just thought we would create some fun wedding pictures with it. As a wedding photographer, we live for weddings like theirs. We have photographed a number of Jessica’s friends and family’s weddings so this wedding day was really special for us. I would venture to say it was almost like a family reunion. As a wedding photographer, there is no greater reward then to serve multiple families that are connected. As usual she headed up her “A” team of vendors to make the wedding day a success.
