Make up portfolio shoots are always a lot of fun to do. To be able to work with top make up artists like Kirstie Fals of Kirstie Fals Makeup Artistry  as well as gorgeous models, it always make for a great day photographing at the studio.  Photographing the facinators that the models wore made the shoot even more fun. Tori’s Senior Experience | Virginia Senior Portrait Photographer

Tori’s Senior Experience was such a blast.  We got to capture her in some amazing outfits.  As you can see, she was true to who she is as she put on her fabulous Cowboy boots.  We just happened to have the vintage couch that helped complete the ensemble.  We did some studio shooting then we headed on location to capture the rest.  Being in an urban downtown area, it opens the doors to such a variety of amazing textures and backgrounds. Emily | Senior Portraits | Virginia Senior Portrait Artist

Emily is one of our senior model representatives for the Class of 2013.  We are so excited to have Emily as a part of our team.  Shooting with her was such a delight.  She is such a talented girl.  She is a devout dancer and doing an urban ballerina session was so much fun. We also had were able to shoot with vintage trains and vintage planes.  All of that adds up to an awesome Senior Experience. Meet Emily

Family portraits in the park…sometimes it can be a great experience and sometimes it is the unknown when dealing with little ones.  We always try to schedule our families with young children around the time of the day when the children are the most happy.  As you can see from these pictures, I think we hit the nail on the head.  Meet the Ellis family.  They chose to coordinate their clothing perfectly for this beautiful environmental portrait session.  Paying attention to those details really makes an image, and having beautiful children, of course!  Here is their precious family.

Devin – 2013 Senior Model Team | The Senior Experience | Senior Portrait Photographer

Meet Devin.  He is a 2013 Senior Model Team member.  We were able to incorporate so many neat things on Devin’s Senior Experience.  We were able to go on location to many neat and perfect outdoor photography locations.  We were able to incorporate vintage trains, vintage planes and even a battleship!  Not many high school seniors have that opportunity. We are glad to have Devin representing our studio as the Class of 2013~  

Jessie and Sharon | Engagement Session | Destination Portrait Photographer

Ah….love is in the air. Meet Jessie and Sharon. Two people in love. We had the awesome opportunity to photographer their outdoor environmental engagement session on location in downtown Norfolk. We just love the history, texture and the scenery there. Spending time photographing them in old churches, on old steps and even alley ways just makes for a wonderful backdrop for photography sessions. Here they are:
