We love photographing infants as they are easy to position and have a good temperament. Sebastian was a dream to work with. This provided us with many amazing images from his photo shoot. When working with calm infants as a photographer, it’s a great time to use photography props. They not only provide comfort for the child but also an eye catching appeal. We strive to make sure that every infant we work with are well taken care of. Creative ways to add comfort to your newborn sessions is by adding in comfy blankets or hats or by swaddling. This also helps to keep the child calm during pictures. Here are some examples: Personal Touches For this session the family wanted to add personal elements to Sebastian’s photo’s. They had custom a dinosaur hat made that they thought would go perfectly with his pictures. Etsy is a great place to find unique photography props. The creator of this adorable hat has her own Etsy shop. View her store and products here. They also wanted to add in elements from the church where Sebastian’s father is the campus pastor. We love it when families are able to incorporate their everyday life into their photos. Including You In The Newborn Session We always want the infant’s family to be a part of their child’s photography session. When parents join in the session, we are able to try different lighting techniques to create even more beautiful photographic pictures. The Perfect Bat Mitzvah Dress As you can see from the photo above, Skylar had chosen the perfect Bat Mitzvah dress. I think that every 13 year old girl that is planning a Bat Mitzvah is searching for the perfect party dress. Skylar was no different. Her gorgeous party dress would set the tone for her Italian themed Bat Mitzvah celebration. Skylar is the youngest child in the family. This is kind of sad for us because this would be the last Bat Mitzvah that we would photograph for her family. The fact that we photograph so many different types of shoots brings us hope. We will look forward to all the senior portraits and weddings to come from her family. Skylar’s family loves to bring their children to us prior to the Bat Mitzvah to do a portrait session. They love to be able to display gorgeous portraits at their grand celebration. Skylar’s party was no different. Her family would display photos inside and outside of the ballroom of the Hilton at the Oceanfront. Teen Portraits We also love to capture some casual portraits during our Bat Mitzvah pre shoot. Head Shot Photographer We love being a professional head shot photographer. It brings a lot of different people into our photography world. We may photograph a CEO in one appointment, a model in our next appointment and an actor in the next photography appointment. It really keeps us on our toes. As you can imagine from these photos, Kayla is not the CEO of a company. Though she is confident and poised and may pass as a CEO, she is an aspiring actor and is involved in musical theater. At such a young age she has so much talent. When she arrived at her photography session for her head shots, we could tell immediately that she would be a delight to photograph. As you can see, the camera loves her and she loves the camera. Even as a young teen it was important to hire a professional make up artist to give Kayla’s images the extra edge. We didn’t attempt to try to make her look older by adding make up, just polish her up and give her that flawless finish that everyone desires. Kayla’s agency is based in LA. She is with IMTA.
